Building your UAS competency portfolio
Last week in class I proposed a basic format to consider to address the competencies in your blogfolio. We are all about quality over quantity and I think this format honors that.
For each competency, we suggest you create a separate blog entry with the competency name and number in the title that uses the structure below:
I. Competency number and title
II. One to two paragraphs of reflection on what the competency means and its relevance to you.

Posting to Google Docs, YouTube, Slideshare
In class I went over a number of ways to post essays, recorded speeches, PowerPoint presentations and media on the web so you could link to it. Let me know if you need help with this. It is much more straightforward than you might think.

- One to three bullet points containing the most important points about this competency

Re: Posting essays. You have two basic choices:
- Post to Google Docs as an actual Word document. This keeps the essay in "editable form" in case you want to change it, but sacrifices some of the look and formatting of the document.
- Post to Slideshare.net as a PDF. This preserves the exact look of the document, but it is no longer easily editable.
